A Good Yarn ~ Teaching the Love of Knitting since 1999

In 1999, Lorraine Gaudet opened A Good Yarn on a tree-shaded street in historic Fells Point. The row house, shop, classroom, and workshop has grown to become Baltimore's premiere teaching shop and meeting place for knitters—beginners and beyond—throughout the area.

Classes at A Good Yarn range from beginning steps to advanced projects and are always changing. Check our class schedule for more information. A Good Yarn offers drop-in help sessions with tender loving care.

A Good Yarn features an ever-changing collection of American made natural fibers as well as an eclectic selection of German and Italian yarns.
